Hello, I'm Chris Murphy — I specialize in creating engaging, user-centric interactive experiences.
DeepRockDrive.com opens live on the global stage at 11:40 PM EST
It is now 11:18 PM PST, and I'm sitting here wrapping up a round of creative and feedback with Jeff Henshaw -- co-founder of DeepRockDrive. By the time I finish spell-checking, proof reading and nit picking at this posting before hitting the Publish button, DeepRockDrive.com will have gone live to the general public.
To say that launching DeepRockDrive — officially launching it — is a little scary and a bit of an understatement. I can only imagine what is going through the minds of many of the DeepRockDrive developers who have contributed to this effort. For the past few months, the folks at DeepRockDrive have been testing and re-testing this site with a closed group, and only recently opened it for private invitation.
But it is time.
With well over a year in the making (and probably more in the conceptualization), there is a great deal of energy surrounding this launch. It is an amazing feeling to be a part of something like this — few designers get this kind of opportunity and though I might sound like a bit of a fan-boy at this point, it is next to impossible to contain my excitement about this launch.
The best thing about all of this expended effort is that things can only get better. The DeepRockDrive experience can only get better. I am speaking of this prematurely, it might seem, but I like to believe I have a pretty good feel for how things like this turn out. If you want to know what I mean, head over to DeepRockDrive and create an account for yourself.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be one of the first to see this site break new [virtual] ground. I guarantee you will not find anything else out there that will compare to this experience.
It is now 11:40 PM EST and DeepRockDrive.com is officially live.
